NYSCOPBA has made several changes in the last couple of years to decrease our environmental footprint and reduce costs. We are now asking our members to help.

You can help us reduce our impact on the environment and costs by signing up for electronic mail. You will be doing your part for the environment and you will receive important information faster.

What changes have we made?

- Replaced all incandescent bulbs with florescent bulbs
- Upgraded the HVAC system to increase efficiency
- Electronic scanned archives replacing hard copies
- Integrated with the single stream recycling system
- Contracted to recycle all electronic equipment
- Installed timers on lighting		- Recycle bins in common areas
- Increased shredding and recycling of paper
- Reduced printing in many of our processes
- Reduce faxing and replace with email
- Sealed windows and doors
- Replaced inefficient computer equipment
