Inmate was the subject of a random pat frisk while in route to recreation at the gym. During the pat frisk inmate decided to flee the area and began to run away from Officer. Officer then took inmate to the ground using body holds but inmate was struggling and hit Officer in the chest and broke free and began to flee again. He ran around several different buildings but in the course of him fleeing threw some objects onto the ground. He was eventually taken to the ground again using body holds and eventually placed in mechanical restraints. The objects found are to be tested for possible drugs and also there was a weapon found in the objects discarded.
