Downstate Woman Accused of Trying to Smuggle Drugs, Razors to Inmate
Marcy, NY – The girlfriend of an inmate was arrested at Marcy  Correctional Facility, accused of attempting to smuggle drugs and ceramic razors into the medium security prison during a visit. 
The 22 year old woman was at the facility to visit her boyfriend , on Sunday,  March 3, 2019.  At approximately 8:45 a.m., she was questioned by security staff after a K9 alerted to her for possible drugs. During questioning, she surrendered two latex glove fingertips.  One fingertip contained 35 orange strips of the narcotic prescription drug known as Suboxone.   The other contained three ceramic razor blades.   The contraband was taken into evidence.
