The constitutional convention question will remain on the back of November’s ballot following a recent court decision. NYSCOPBA’s Executive Board has been aggressively fighting to educate its members, their families, and the communities in which these individuals reside about the dangers of a constitutional convention when it comes to benefits and protections that NYSCOPBA members have earned and clearly deserve, including vested pensions. We are thankful for this small victory and will continue our fight to ensure that our members’ interests and rights are not infringed upon.
