After returning to B-1 division, inmate was waiting in the dayroom to lock in. One Officer was covering the lock-box and the another Officer, who just returned to the unit, directed inmate to lock in. Inmate started walking towards the division then suddenly spun, striking the Officer in the left side of the face with a right closed fist. Officer then used body holds to force the combative inmate to the floor where the inmate continued to violently resist. Officer at the lock-box activated his PAS and response was called.
