South Beach Psychiatric Center

Patient became extremely violent and aggressive, during which patient broke a fire extinguisher glass cabinet with his hand. In an attempt to stop the patient from hurting himself and others, several Officers and staff tried to restrain him. During the restraint the patient kicked an Officer in the right side groin area. Patient also caused injury to Officer’s right pinky and ring fingers while restraining patient.
