During a dorm investigation an inmate was questioned about his injuries as he was escorted off the dorm. Before reaching the door the inmate turned towards the Officer and wrapped both of his arms around the Officer applying a bear type hug to the Officer. The Officer struggled with inmate eventually breaking away. Officer used body holds to bring inmate under control, responding Officer assisted in applying mechanical restraints, inmate then became compliant. Both Officers remained on duty.
