Officers Injured Rescuing Inmate from Suicide Attempt at Albion Correctional Facility

Albion , NY — On Friday, March 27, five officers were exposed to significant bloodborne pathogens, and two sustained injuries while responding to an inmate at the female prison medical unit who had attempted suicide. The inmate had cut them self multiple times and tied a sheet around their neck, attaching it to a handicap rail. Full Press Release
