Assault Alert –

During an attempted escort of an inmate from MHU interview room back to his cell, once leg restraints were removed the inmate stood up and attempted to push past the Officer forcing his left shoulder in the to Officers chest.  After several direct orders the inmate said he would comply with the escort.  Inmate once again turned and attempted to pull the restraints away.  After giving several more direct orders to stop the inmate turned and attempted to kick an Officer and the inmate was forced to the floor.  The inmate was assisted to his feet and escorted to his cell.  A retention strap was applied before being placed in his cell.  When the inmates hand was removed from the restraints he attempted to pull the restraints into his cell.  Inmate continued to struggle with the restraints, striking staff while the restraints were being removed.
