Assault Alert: Five Points CF

Inmate was observed via facility monitoring system inserting an unknown object into his rectum inside the inmate visit room bathroom. During the strip frisk contraband was suspected in the inmate’s anus. While attempting to secure the inmate in the strip cell the inmate pushed the Officer in attempt to exit the cell. He also pushed an assisting Officer and continued to exit the strip cell. Multiple Officers used body holds to restrain the combative inmate. Due to the violent nature of the inmate his hands were only able to be restrained in the front of his body and the inmate became compliant. During the escort to the infirmary the inmate turned violently and struck an Officer in the face. Officers used body holds to secure the inmate to the floor. While securing the inmate he spit and struck an Officer in the face and shirt. A spit net was applied and there was no further incident.
