Staff noticed that inmate had tied a towel to his cell bars to prevent Officers from entering. Inmate pushed Officer away with his right hand as Officer attempted to untie the towel. Inmate then threw an unknown object into his cell toilet. Officer entered cell to prevent destruction of the object. Inmate struggled while being restrained. Another Officer assisted and they were able to regain control over inmate. The Officers were seen by medical and were treated for abrasions, sustained bruises and pain to calf, knee, shin and wrist.
