Synthetic Marijuana, Cocaine Discovered in Inmate Mail
Coxsackie, NY – Correction officers discovered synthetic marijuana, marijuana, cocaine and Suboxone hidden in inmate mail at the medium security correctional facility.
On Friday, July 10 at approximately 7:30 a.m., a package of fruit snacks mailed to an inmate from the Buffalo area were being X-rayed by an officer in the package room. The officer noticed inconsistencies in the packages. The snacks were opened up and they contained 24 small plastic bags with a green leafy substance inside. Full Press Release
