COXSACKIE, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Several people were riding like a NASCAR driver on Friday for a good cause.  A simulator of stock car driver Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s Chevy was brought to Coxsackie Friday night. It was in town for a fundraising event put on by the New York State Correctional Officers & Police Benevolent Association. The event raised money for the Children’s Hospital at Albany Medical Center. The money will be used to purchase Christmas gifts for those who will be in the hospital during the holiday season.
