Inmate Assaults Sergeant at Mid-State Correctional Facility

Marcy , NY — A 23-year-old inmate, serving a four-to-eleven-year sentence for Reckless Endangerment 1st and two counts of Attempted Assault 2nd in Oneida County, assaulted a sergeant after faking a medical condition to leave his dorm at the medium-security Mid-State Correctional Facility. The inmate was previously convicted for attempting to run over two troopers in 2022, after they attempted to pull him over for reckless driving and speeding. Full Press Release
