Inmate Possibly High on Intoxicant During Attack

Romulus, NY – A 38 year old inmate serving a 25 years to life prison sentence for murder, attacked three officers and injured a fourth who helped subdue him in the kitchen of the facility mess hall.

The attack occurred on Friday, July 14. Initially, an officer on security rounds in the mess hall observed the inmate laying on the floor in the dish room acting strange. The officer called for assistance and approached the inmate to handcuff him for safety.  FULL PRESS RELEASE
