Inmate was witnessed entering a bathroom stall that was already occupied by another inmate. Officer ordered the inmate out of the stall and to his dorm entry where he could conduct a pat frisk. When the inmate was ordered to remove his hands from hos pockets Officer observed a green leafy substance protruding from his pocket. At this time the inmate was ordered to the wall to be pat frisked when the inmate then placed his hands down his pants in what appeared to be an effort to conceal the contraband in a body cavity. Officer used body holds in an effort to gain compliance but the inmate grabbed the officer and body slammed him to the ground. Officer had already pulled his PAS radio pin and when the inmate grabbed him he also grabbed hold of the inmate as they went to the floor. Response did come and assist in gaining control of the inmate as well as placing mechanical restraints on him.
