During returning movement from the facility mess hall, Officer asked inmate what bed location he was in. Inmate refused to answer. Inmate was asked again and inmate refused to acknowledge Officer, and then knocked accountability clipboard from Officer’s hand. Officer orders inmate to wall for pat frisk and inmate stated, “I’ll put you on the wall.” and then grabbed Officer by wrapping both arms around the Officer’s neck and head, placing him in a head lock type choke hold, forcing the Officer to the floor. Officer was able to activate his PAS alarm and attempted to break free of the inmates hold to no avail. Responding Officers arrived and used body holds to force inmate off Officer, placing the inmate in mechanical restraints to be escorted from the area.
