Five Female Visitors Arrested and over 130 Grams of Drugs Seized in One Day
After Trying to Smuggle Drugs into Prison
Cayuga, NY – Five women were arrested and charged with promoting prison contraband after a K9 alerted to them while carrying drugs during inmate visitations on a single day at the medium-security facility.
On Sunday May 7th the following individuals were arrested and charged with promoting contraband:
· A Schenectady woman carrying a bundle of 10 grams of marijuana.
· A Binghamton woman carrying a bundle of 11.5 grams of marijuana.
