Violence Continues to Plague Facility, Several Officers Injured and Visitors Arrested

Romulus, NY –  In the first nine days of June, multiple inmate on inmate fights occurred at the maximum security correctional facility that injured eight officers, sending five  to a local hospital for their injuries.

In addition to the violence, three visitors were arrested attempting to smuggle drugs into inmates in the visitor’s room, one inmate needed to be revived by Narcan after an apparent drug overdose,  and wooden shank was recovered from an inmate in the Residential Rehabilitation Unit.  FULL PRESS RELEASE
