To the NYSCOPBA Membership:
I am pleased to announce that NYSCOPBA will be giving our membership an opportunity to make their voices heard on endorsements for statewide candidates in the upcoming November General Election.
This is a historic moment for our organization. For the first time in NYSCOPBA’s history, a statewide endorsement poll is being sent directly to the membership. I am proud to be the first President of this organization to take this step and provide our members with a direct voice in this important decision.
Bruce Blakeman has been declared the Republican candidate for Governor of the State of New York. The ballot will ask:

In addition, the statewide candidates below have officially solicited NYSCOPBA’s endorsement:

The Executive Board, along with the NYSCOPBA PAC Committee, believes that our membership deserves to have their voices heard when it comes to who our organization supports.
This process is about giving our members a direct say. We are not asking you to vote a particular way. We are asking you to participate. Whether you vote YES or NO, your voice matters, and your participation is an important part of this historic process for NYSCOPBA.
Please check your mailbox for your ballot and take the time to complete and return it.
All ballots will be collected and counted on September 14, 2026, at NYSCOPBA Headquarters by the Election Committee. Once the ballots have been counted and the results are certified, NYSCOPBA will communicate the results to the membership.
