Two Officers Also Injured Attempting to Get Medical Help for Inmate
Marcy, NY – An officer sustained injuries at the medium security prison after an inmate attacked him after refusing orders to leave a restricted area of the prison.
On Wednesday, May 26, an officer observed an inmate walking in a restricted area of the facility. He was ordered to stop several times. He refused, and continued to walk through the restricted area. The officer approached him and told him to stop and submit to a frisk for contraband. Full Press Release
