In September 2018, at approximately 8:30 pm, while C.O. Jason Ploss was at home with this family he heard a crashing noise.  After investigating, he found that a vehicle had rolled over near his front lawn.  He ran outside, towards the wrecked vehicle.  We he approached the SUV, he found a woman unconscious in the front driver seat of the vehicle.  Officer Ploss pulled the woman from the front seat of the vehicle and carried her to his porch, where his wife talked to the now conscious woman until the ambulance arrived.  Officer Ploss ran back to the vehicle trying to make sure there were no other passengers in the vehicle.  Very shortly after Officer Ploss pulled the woman to safety, the vehicle was engulfed in flames.  If it were not for the quick action of Officer Ploss, the woman whom he pulled from the vehicle, would have likely perished in the vehicle.
